"One Small Space for Man/One Giant Space for Mankind" is a double album by improvised space rock group Space Macs.

After a trip into deep space, an astronaut is stranded during a space walk and left to die. His entire life flashes before his eyes, his family is left to grieve, and he is stranded in the purgatory of floating in space.

A hapless crew's return trip to earth is interrupted when they realize they left behind one of their own to float in space. They journey back into the deepest parts of space to try to save their friend.
